Placental Growth Factors

Placental growth factors are substances that stimulate the growth of blood vessels (angiogenesis) and increasing the diameter of existing arteries (arteriogenesis), thereby increasing the supply of blood to aid in tissue repair. It is used as a biological treatment modality in orthopedic sports medicine.
